Mr. Fidel Touma (MD, FRACS)

Mr Fidel Touma is an experienced General and Laparoscopic Surgeon and Endoscopist. Fidel is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) and holds appointments as a consultant general surgeon at Northern Health, John Fawkner and Northpark Private Hospitals.

Throughout his tenure as a general surgeon, Mr Touma has always strived to gain new insights and techniques to advance his practice to the forefront of the surgical arena. Mr Touma practices gastroscopy and colonoscopy in addition to a wide range of general surgeries including gut surgery (Gastrointestinal), weight loss surgery, hernias, breast and thyroid surgery as well as skin surgery and lumps and bumps. He has a special interest in laparoscopic procedures and repairing complex hernias.

Mr Touma is fluent in Arabic and likes to work with people from different cultural backgrounds, promoting respect and inclusion of people from all walks of life.
